Interior plaster offers commercial spaces a durable, refined finish with architectural character that goes beyond conventional painted wall surfaces. From traditional smooth plaster to decorative Venetian plaster, BRIT-TEX Construction installs specialty interior finishes for new construction, renovations, tenant improvements, hospitality projects, retail spaces, restaurants, offices, and other commercial interiors.
Every commercial interior has different architectural specifications, substrates, finish schedules, colors, textures, lighting conditions, and design requirements. Our team works from the construction documents and approved finish selections to coordinate the plaster scope with the overall interior design and construction schedule.
Our process begins by reviewing plans, elevations, finish schedules, substrates, wall conditions, architectural details, transitions, corners, ceilings, feature areas, and specified finishes. Proper surface preparation is especially important with decorative plaster because the quality and consistency of the substrate directly affect the appearance of the finished surface.
BRIT-TEX Construction provides interior plaster applications for commercial walls, ceilings, columns, feature walls, entry areas, reception spaces, corridors, lobbies, restaurants, retail interiors, hospitality environments, and other architectural surfaces. Depending on the project, finishes can range from smooth and understated to highly textured and decorative.
Venetian plaster is often selected when a commercial interior requires a more distinctive architectural finish. Applied in multiple thin layers and worked by hand, Venetian plaster can create depth, movement, variation, and a polished appearance that responds naturally to the lighting and surrounding design of the space.
Depending on the specified technique and finish, Venetian plaster can range from soft matte surfaces to smooth, highly polished finishes with visual depth similar to natural stone. Color, movement, sheen, texture, and application technique can be adjusted to complement the project's architectural and interior design.
Commercial Venetian plaster is particularly well suited for spaces where the wall finish contributes directly to the customer or guest experience. Restaurants, hotels, retail stores, corporate offices, reception areas, showrooms, entertainment venues, and other design-focused environments can use decorative plaster to create a distinctive interior without relying on conventional wall coverings.
Interior plaster can also be incorporated into architectural features such as columns, curved walls, niches, ceilings, soffits, entry features, reception walls, accent areas, and other custom surfaces. Our team coordinates these details with surrounding finishes to maintain clean transitions and a consistent appearance throughout the project.
Proper preparation remains one of the most important parts of specialty plaster installation. Before decorative finishes are applied, substrates are evaluated for flatness, stability, joints, cracks, surface inconsistencies, previous coatings, and other conditions that could affect the finished appearance.
Once the substrate is properly prepared, primers, base materials, plaster coats, decorative layers, and protective finishes are applied according to the selected system and project requirements. Multiple passes may be required to build the depth, movement, texture, or polished appearance specified by the architect or designer.
Commercial interior plaster work also requires coordination with other finish trades. BRIT-TEX Construction works around drywall, ceilings, millwork, cabinetry, flooring, tile, stone, lighting, electrical components, doors, storefront systems, signage, fixtures, and other interior elements that interact with finished plaster surfaces.
Lighting is particularly important with Venetian and decorative plaster. Natural light, wall washing, recessed fixtures, pendants, and other lighting conditions can emphasize variations in texture and sheen. Our team focuses on consistent application and careful finishing so the completed surface supports the architectural intent of the space.
For projects combining interior plaster with exterior stucco or EIFS, manufacturers such as Sto, Master Wall, Senergy, Parex, and Dryvit may also be incorporated into other portions of the project's specified plaster and exterior wall systems.
BRIT-TEX Construction works on commercial interior plaster projects where finish quality, consistency, architectural detailing, and coordination with other trades matter. From large wall surfaces to detailed feature areas, our goal is to deliver professional plaster finishes that complement the overall design of the project.
Whether the project involves a hotel, restaurant, retail store, office, showroom, entertainment venue, corporate facility, medical facility, institutional building, mixed-use development, or another commercial interior, BRIT-TEX Construction is prepared to work alongside the project's general contractor, architect, designer, and construction team.

Commercial Decorative Plaster & Finish Coordination
Interior and Venetian plaster are architectural finishes that must work with the complete interior design. BRIT-TEX Construction coordinates plaster installation with drywall, ceilings, flooring, tile, stone, millwork, cabinetry, lighting, storefront systems, doors, signage, fixtures, and other finished surfaces.
Finish samples and approved selections can be used to establish the desired color, movement, texture, sheen, and overall appearance before larger areas are completed. Because decorative plaster is hand applied, natural variation can become part of the character and depth of the finished surface.
From smooth contemporary finishes to layered Venetian plaster with greater movement and visual depth, the exact materials, preparation methods, number of coats, application techniques, and protective treatments depend on the project's specifications and desired architectural finish.
BRIT-TEX Construction focuses on delivering commercial plaster finishes that integrate naturally with the surrounding materials while maintaining the character intended by the project's architect or designer.
